ASIWAJU TINUBU DEY KAMPE!
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu
A close associate of the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, has dispelled his rumoured grave ill-health and admission in a London hospital.
Addressing a press conference in Lagos, on Thursday, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku, deputy chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the party, said Senator Tinubu was hale and hearty when he met with him in London.
Odunmbaku, who was on medical vacation abroad, returned to the state on Wednesday. He disclosed that he spent the last two days with Tinubu in London, where “he’s doing well, hale and hearty.” He added that they extensively discussed the future of the party and expected electoral successes in 2015 elections.
“I would like you to know that I spent the last two days with our indefatigable and revered leader, Tinubu. He is hale, hearty and very fit. He will soon be with us. We discussed on how to fashion out some strategies about how our party can excel in the coming general election.”
Debunking the rumour that he had parted ways with Tinubu and the governor of Osun State, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, Odunmbaku said the rumour was figment of imagination of APC detractors.
He said the relationship between him and the duo remained solid.
According to him, “a couple of weeks ago, I was not in good state of health and had to take time off. I know there had been rumours doing the round. I wish to reiterate that today, I am a member of our great party and a member of the Governing Advisory Committee and still remains the deputy state chairman of APC Lagos.”
He disclosed that he led an army of prayer warriors to Ile-Ife, Osogbo and Ede in Osun State during the electoral campaigns of Aregbesola, despite his health condition then. Abeke Olabode

Asiwaju Tinubu Blasts Ikimi!
"Regarding Ikimi’s bid for the Chairmanship of the Party. It was clear to practically everyone who had the interest of the party at heart that we simply could not have a man of Tom Ikimi’s antecedents as Chair of the party.
As chairman of the NRC, one of the only two political parties in the country under the military transition programme, Tom Ikimi not only connived with the then military regime to annul the elections, terminate the democratic process and sell off his party. He became Abacha’s foreign minister, convincing the world that heinous state murders like the hanging of Ken Saro Wiwa were just acts! If Ikimi were the Chair of APC the party would have to sleep with both eyes open lest its chairman sell off the party before day break.
No matter what anyone may say about me it is unlikely that I can be accused of supporting incompetent or morally light-weight individuals for important political positions.
My philosophy is to put the best forward, men and women of competence and integrity, who can stand up to us politicians to challenge us and say no when necessary. Such people are not noisy or able to gain attention by being loud, I believe my role is to do all I can to project them. Who in their right mind would compare the highly principled Chief Bisi Akande, or Chief Oyegun with a Tom Ikimi? Either of these two men are known for their no-nonsense styles, not once in their careers would you hear that they betrayed a cause or were anybody’s stooge."-Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Lagos State Governor & APC Leader.

TINUBU BEST OBAS COLLECTED MONEY FROM LATE ABACHA!
“Two among the three obas mentioned by him were the best friends of the late military head of state, General Sani Abacha and among them, one was on the paylist of the late General and one lifted crude oil allocated to him by General Abacha. You can ask them, Abacha gave me money on more than one occasion, but I refused.
Oba Sijuwade said this on Thursday, while addressing the audience at a two-day conference of foremost traditional rulers in Osun State on the overall development of the state, in Osogbo.
The traditional ruler said he had to express his protest over the statement credited to Tinubu on behalf of the majority of Yoruba rulers in Nigeria.
According to Oba Sijuwade, Tinubu had forgotten that “when our country was upside down, it was the traditional rulers in this country that saved the situation. If we left the country as politicians did, there would have been no state for the leader of APC to rule when he came back.
“Two among the three obas mentioned by him were the best friends of the late military head of state, General Sani Abacha and among them, one was on the paylist of the late General and one lifted crude oil allocated to him by General Abacha. You can ask them, Abacha gave me money on more than one occasion, but I refused.
“And if you want to talk of the annulment of late Chief M.K.O. Abiola’s election, these two/three traditional rulers should be properly investigated, because they were neither here nor there,” the traditional ruler said.
He also used the medium to caution political leaders against unguarded and unfounded statements which had to do with traditional rulers, to always be sure of their facts before going public.
“If any of our leaders wants to make a categorical statement on an important issue like the Oba in Yorubaland, he should please try to check records to know exactly what each one of them has done, because there is so much blackmailing and, fortunately, the late Abacha’s Chief Security Officer (CSO) is alive and he is in a position to tell the world the obas who were close associates of his late boss,” Oba Sijuwade added.
The two-day programme had in attendance, the governor of Osun State, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, his deputy, Mr Titilayo Laoye-Tomori, traditional rulers in the state as well the Alake of Egbaland, Oba (Dr) Aremu Gbadebo; the Olowo of Owo kingdom, Oba (Dr) Victor Folagbade Olateru-Olagbegi, who was represented by Dr Okajare Solomon.
In his presentation, Oba Olateru-Olagbegi preached unity among the obas, saying, “genuine unification of Yorubaland can bring back the much-cherished heritage of love, unity and solidarity of our forebearers.”
Speaking at the programme, Governor Aregbesola, who described the traditional rulers as custodians of culture, further enjoined them to ensure peace in their domains.
“Traditional rulers are powerful, reverred in Yorubaland and their subjects attest to this. Therefore, I urge you to use your influence in your various domains to ensure that peace reigns perpetually beyond election period,” he said.

PHOTOS: ASIWAJU TINUBU GRABS ANOTHER BOMBADIER XRS JET!
Posers: Yes the stable is rotten but for a scientific cleansing of the Augean stable, the pastors and all individuals that own a private jet must be taken to task. Is it possible after 8 years as a governor and massive goodwill for Asiwaju to afford a jet? The pastors too, where did they get the money from, who donated and from what source? Well, it all sounds like a catch 22 situation in Nigeria. No accountability whatsoever.
See photos below:
According to mycelebrityandi, APC Leader and former Governor of Lagos, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has acquired for himself a new private jet, sources in the know reveal.
The jet which is said to be a Bombadier Global Express XRS, is the same type owned by Aliko Dangote, Folorunsho Alakija and Mike Adenuga Jnr. The luxurious ‘toy’ is said to cost about $50m or more depending on specification, according to aviation experts.
Details of the purchase is sketchy but we have it on good authority that it was ordered from the US but facilitated in Europe.

MYSTERY "OBAMA BILLIONAIRE" SET TO DUPE ASIWAJU TINUBU, APC!
APC Insiders Insist "Mystery Billionaire" Ladi Delano Is Out To Dupe Tinubu...Claims to have strategised Obama's US Election Victory

"Quite frankly the young man, Delano, is just an impostor. I hope the inner circle of Asiwaju would quickly sift through this crude lie and nip Delano's disingenuous business pitch in the bud. This wrong message must be prevented from spreading across as it could undermine the growing reputation of the APC and embarrass the stature of Asiwaju as it happened in the past on the alleged invitation from Obama to Asiwaju to attend Obama's presidential inauguration.
We are still digging and Metronews readers can be assured that we will soon uncover who Ladi Delano is.
Mystery "billionaire", Ladi Delano claims Obama victory to woo Tinubu in an obvious bid to secure political campaign contracts from a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. Self professed billionaire, Ladi Delano has claimed to have been a major player in strategising President Barack Obama's victory in the American presidential elections.Delano who acquired his wealth trading in goods including liquor and by subsequently putting his company up for sale, reports say, was introduced to Tinubu while the frontline politician recently underwent treatment for his knee injury in the United States of America.
The young businessman, who has been paying frequent visits to Asiwaju's Victoria Island office, asserted that he was a key player in the team that delivered the technological strategy to win votes for Obama during the last elections. However, Delano's claim has elicited strong disapproval amongst APC faithfuls who have described it as a crude lie concocted to make money and a disingenuous business pitch that could undermine the reputation of the party.

I can say as a matter of fact that Delano has never moved close to Obama not to talk of him delivering a crucial part of Obama's electoral success; and his known business interests have no link with any digital services", an anonymous APC official said.

JONATHAN HAS TURNED NNPC INTO BABAJEBU LOTTERY!
Jonathan is turning NNPC into ATM – Tinubu

Former Lagos State governor and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has described the Jonathan government as one that routinely abuses power and manipulates the people.
Speaking as after-dinner speaker and special guest of honour at the NG Annual Dinner in Lagos at the Muson Centre on Thursday February 6, 2014, Tinubu drew a distinction between the PDP and the APC.
He blamed the Jonathan-led PDP government as one spinning recklessly out of control in terms of spending, corruption in the oil sector and other slush funds channelled through government programmes to fill the pockets of party loyalists.
Tinubu noted that Nigerians are yet to get a satisfactory explanation on the 400,000 barrels per day that is stolen. He opined that the NNPC has been converted into an automated teller machine (ATM).
Tinubu said: “Like I have maintained previously, the Sure-P project is a drain pipe; a slush fund for political patronage. For instance, the N253.5 billion alleged to have being spent on projects by the Federal Government as at December 2013 is not reflective in the lives of ordinary Nigerians. In 2012, about N180 billion accrued to the Federal Government in Sure-P alone.”
“Under the heavy weight of corruption, heavy dose of insecurity, the ticking time bomb of youth unemployment and a near total absence of institutional rationalisation, Nigeria under President Jonathan clutches on like a battered engine in need of a complete overhaul. In fact, a change of engine.”
Tinubu, who spoke in a very conversational tone at the dinner, used his experience as a former governor of Lagos State as a tool to examine what is wrong with Nigeria politically and economically.
According to him, Nigeria punches below its weight and is trapped in a disarticulated economy occasioning poverty and frustration on people. “The AFDB, in its African Economic Outlook report of 2013 revealed that poverty has worsened since 1996 and through 11 years of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rule. The efforts of President Jonathan’s government at combating poverty were also faulted.”
The former governor of Lagos State asserted that under the current economic environment, it is almost impossible for Nigeria to meet any of the predictions about its prosperity.
“The projection that Nigeria will soon emerge, at least in the next 30 years alongside three other countries as an economic giant by the British Economist, Jim O’Neil, will for long be a mirage. O’Neil predicted that Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria and Turkey are to become what he refers to as “MINT’.
“We all know that this is another Vision 2020 gimmick. A very distant hope with no chance of coming to fruition. Let us not for once delude ourselves that this is possible. A country that is yet to export the smallest plastic product or one that generates a miserable 12 per cent of the total energy needs of the country can never be a candidate for “MINT”, “BRICS” (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) and as we now know, Vision 2020. Our energy woes abide.”
Tinubu was on call to explain the vision and mission of the new party, APC and offer an insight into the ideology of the party.
He said: “We formed this party to improve the lot and the lives of those who don’t have. We formed it to bring dignity, hope, justice and the reality of prosperity to those Nigerians who seek these things.
“The PDP has never been a friend of the people and each year, it becomes less of one. They have turned their backs on the people. Now it is time the people turn their backs against the PDP.
“The PDP claims we don’t have an ideology. We have an ideology but it is one PDP can’t understand. What the arrogant and mean don’t understand, they pretend does not exist.
“One can no longer dance on both sides of the fence. Either you are resolute for justice or for injustice. Stake your claim and sign your name to it so history may record your decision and your deeds at this critical hour.
“For me, I have but one life thus I have but one choice. I choose the right way. I follow the APC. I urge you all to hitch a ride on the rescue mission APC is about and rally for change and the re-building of a Nigeria that meets our dream.”
He added: “We have come to a moment in time when there is no time to waffle, obfuscate or prattle. Beginning from now and as we march toward the elections of 2015, the people shall decide whether they want to enshrine injustice, inequality and the rule of arbitrary might over their lives or do they want to build a finer existence where the light of fairness, prosperity and the rule of law shines on all. “
The NG dinner, held once a year, is an association of core professionals drawn from diverse fields and mostly Lagos based. The NG group formed in 1998 has produced a number of governors, ministers, commissioners and other key government functionaries. It is an informal think tank, a sounding board of sorts for government types and policy makers.
Mr. Wale Edun, the chairman of the NG group, welcomed all members and expressed delight that Governor Tinubu found time to honor their invitation.

REVEALED: THE INTRIGUES OF APC, TINUBU'S VISIT TO OBASANJO!
How Obasanjo Almost Missed Out On APC Visit
“Following the leakage of his letter to the president and the many grave allegations that it contained, Baba (Obasanjo) has been under some tremendous pressure,” one of his trusted aides said. “The pressure multiplied when Iyabo (his daughter) purportedly wrote another letter disparaging him and calling him names. So, the intended visit by the leadership of the APC was more than timely. He went the extra mile to make the visit happen and to host them. The good publicity will do him a world of good.” Continue below!

In the days leading to the much publicized and long-awaited meeting between the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Former President of Nigeria, Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo, the host started to think his would-be guests had grown cold feet and would shelf the meeting, sources close to the events have revealed.
In his anxiety, following the two recently published open letters that involved him, the immediate past chairman of the PDP began to make frantic calls to his contacts within the APC, or going them to make the trip. In fact, he is said to have made numerous reservations in the best hotels he could find in Abeokuta, Ogun state, in a bid to make his guests as comfortable as he possibly could. He wanted to play the perfect host. Sources say he needed the visit to go perfectly.
The good publicity will do him a world of good.”
The retired general’s instincts were correct; not every member of the APC leadership was enthusiastic about the visit to Obasanjo’s Hilltop Mansion. While a number of them felt the former president still holds a few political aces up his sleeves, others felt he was too much of an unpredictable character to tangle with at this point in the party’s lifetime. One group felt it would be a mockery of Tinubu’s legacy of having beat Obasanjo in the political game in the past to now go seeking the ex-president’s attention. It took the direct intervention of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari to convince his colleagues that the meeting was a worthy venture.
“Buhari called Tinubu and told him he had nothing to prove anymore,” said a source. “He told him it would seem petty to leave Obasanjo out when other former heads of state and leaders had been visited. Only then was the final decision taken to visit Abeokuta.
The delegation was led by the party’s Interim National Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, former Head of State, General Mohammadu Buhari; former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Tinubu; former Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Nasir el-Rufai; former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode; former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ((EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; and the Interim National Publicity Secretary of APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
Others leaders of the party in attendance were governors of Ogun, Oyo, Imo, Kwara, Adamawa and Rivers states, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Chief Rochas Okorocha, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, Mallam Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso and Honourable Rotimi Amaechi, respectively.
They arrived late in the afternoon of Saturday. After deliberating with their host, who rolled out the carpet in an lovely fashion, the guests left at about 8:40pm.
When asked why the APC leadership chose to visit their old adversary, Tinubu said, “Our visit was not to woo him, but to tap from his wealth of experience. He has gathered a lot of wisdom and we need that wisdom, not necessarily to our partition politics, but to draw from his experiences as an elder statesman.”
Several of the governors followed Tinubu to his home in Lagos for further meetings which lasted until the wee hours of the morning.
“I believe our aim was achieved at the meeting,” our APC source said. “We went there to inform Obasanjo of our aims and objectives and he receive us warmly. He even gave us valuable advise. The meeting couldn’t have bone better.”

#Ribadu: Greatest disservice to the country and its democracy is for Nigerians to keep silent in the face of injustice.
Soldiers, riot policemen and other security agencies confronted the leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during their march to the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja on November 28, 2013, Thursday.
After a strategic meeting in the APC’s new secretariat in Wuse 2, the Federal Capital Territory, which lasted about three hours, the party leaders took to the streets and embarked on a procession to INEC’s office in Maitama District.
The protesters however met a stiff resistance from stern-looking security operatives comprising the police, soldiers, SSS and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps.

An armoured personnel carrier, marked NPF 6359 C, measuring about 40-feet long, was used to barricade the entrance to the commission’s office, while the driver of the truck and police officers were pelted with sachets of water by the APC youths.
In their separate speeches, the APC national Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande; National Leader of the party and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; former chairman of ANPP, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu; and ex-Head of State, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd.), called for the sacking of INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, with immediate effect for his handling of the Anambra State governorship poll and the recent Delta State Senatorial by-election.

Stripped for stealing blackberry while the likes of Abuja looters, Stella Oduah and Asiwaju can paralyse a sprawling city centre for his daughter's innocuous iwuye ceremony! We are not aversed to anyone donning any hat or cap, but let us be responsible as leaders. Mind you, we love Tinubu, we love Jonathan, we love Atiku, but if anyone of them fumbles, we will not mince words.
This is about the system, not the person, congrats to the new Iyaloja, Oye amori o, but the way the ceremony was conducted with total state paralysis was the height of executive lawlessness and impunity. Be sure some people will defend their pot of porridges, so how will the country move forward if even the suffering masses cannot be truthful and sincere!

TINUBU, OJUKWU'S SON INVIGORATE NGIGE!
All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the November 16 governorship election in Anambra State, Chris Ngige, on Tuesday flagged off his campaign at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Onitsha, where over 100,000 party supporters gathered to cheer and celebrate their heroes.
Among the APC bigwigs who attended were former Lagos governor Bola Tinubu, Edo governor Adams Oshiomhole, Ekiti governor Kayode Fayemi, and Imo governor Rochas Okorocha.
Tinubu commended the people of the state for turning out en mass to witness the governorship campaign and praised Ngige, calling him a “tested and trusted candidate.”First son of late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Sylverster, who attended the rally, urged Anambra people to vote for Ngige on the day of the election.
He believes that of all the candidates that have presented themselves for the contest it is only Ngige that
is most qualified and credible to mange the affairs of the state having been tasted during his 34 months in office as governor.
‘’I have told you whom you will vote for I have looked around and I have discovered that the only person that you will vote for is Senator Ngige.
“The person that went there before did not impress me and I said I do not agree with the person. So I want to make another wish like I did before which you granted me, the person that will restore Anambra State is Ngige,” Ojukwu said.
Speaking at the rally, Ngige decried the high rate of insecurity in the state such as kidnapping, armed robbery and all forms of brigandage as well as high level of youth unemployment.
He promised to tackle them head long if elected into office.
“I will give you people. I want the children of the poor to benefit from education. I will also re-engineer the health sector, water scheme and other sectors that have collapsed in the face of this present administration,” the candidate promised.
Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, who is the National Chairman of Ngige Campaign Committee, advised the Anambra electorate not to allow themselves to be influenced by money bags in order not to sell their conscience and their mandate to a candidate with a questionable character.
Presenting Ngige and his ruining mate, Ralph Okeke, to the electorate Okorocha declared: “Ngige needs no campaign, there is no basis for comparison between him and other contestants; he has worked for you before and he will do more if he is elected as Governor.”
While asking the people to start intensive and aggressive mobilisation for Ngige, Okorocha advised them to not only cast their votes on the day of the election but also to make sure that they stayed and protect their votes.
Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, noted that a vote for Ngige is a vote for free and quality education and that Anambra people cannot vote for somebody that is not educated.
Edo State Governor, Adams Oshomole, announced that the era of governing Anambra State from Abuja is over.

BOLA TINUBU VISITS CRASH SURVIVORS!
Like our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/LamzatBlogWorldwide
Former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu yesterday visited the survivors of the Associated Aviation crash at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), where they are being treated.

STRONG indications emerged on Friday that former governor of Lagos State, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will return to the country today after undergoing surgery in the United States of America.
Saturday Tribune learnt from an authoritative source that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who travelled out of the country for the operation in August, is said to have recuperated considerably and can now move around on his legs without assistance.
Tinubu, it was gathered, will arrive the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja from the United Kingdom where he is billed to address newsmen on various national issues that occurred in his absence and also shed light on the state of his health.
Already, a reception is said to have been put on ground to receive the APC National Leader as APC governors from across the country, including Mr Babaunde Raji Fashola, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Adams Oshiomhole, Rochas Okorocha among others as well as chieftains and party faithfuls are said to mobilise to receive the Lagos former governor at the airport, where he would later be accompanied to his Ikoyi residence.
