Race 1
Race Summary: A weak field and any type of result is possible. RIO SUPREMO was not disgraced on local debut and should be right there at the finish. BACK TO FORMENTERA was a disappointment on local debut but did prove in need of that run and should strip fitter and run a much better race this time around. A FOREIGN AFFAIR is clearly unreliable but is fit and could earn some more money. MISS UNITED STATES is in good heart and has a winning chance as well.

Race 2
Race Summary: EUROPEAN SUMMER put behind a lot of disappointing runs with a fluent win last time out. The handicapper gave her a massive penalty for that win and although that will not affect her for the conditions of this race that rating does cause concern for her future. If the handicapper is right she should win this race. OFFICIAL SECRET is coming off a good win and should prove a lively runner. WINTER SCOUT has done enough of late to also have a winning chance. PINK LEGACY was a disappointment last time but could do better back on the turf.

Race 3
Race Summary: WAR MAN has improved of late and deserves respect over a course and distance that should suit. VANDERBILT does seem a difficult ride as he runs about in his races but is also holding his form well and has a winning chance. JOE HARMAN did everything but win last time out and deserves a winning turn. This could well be it. JACK IN THE BOX is battling but could earn some money.

Race 4
Race Summary: A tough handicap and we might have to go very wide to survive the exotics. SACRED IBIS won nicely over the course and distance a few runs back but has only been modest since. She can win if in the mood. MONASHADA was not disgraced on local debut and must be considered. IDEAL ANGEL did not show her best side last time. She must be respected if she returns to the form of her previous run. BASETSANA makes her local debut and it could well be a winning one. The same can also be said of WINTERTIME. DO SI DO is another possible winner dropping in class.

Race 5
Race Summary: DIVINE ODYSSEY has been impressive in his last three wins. He could well make it four on the trot in a race he is weighted to win. He has yet to convince he is as good over this 2700m but can silence those doubts. MISS ORANGE has been very unreliable of late but on her best form has a winning chance. ARANJUEZ does well over this course and distance and must be considered. BLACKBALL has been poor of late but returns to a course and distance that suits.

Race 6
Race Summary: KEEP IT SECRET was a disappointment last time out. He returns to a course and distance that suits and has a winning chance. FERRARI ICE was full of running when scoring over this course and distance last time out and could follow up. TEOFILIA has been in very good form this season and deserves respect once again. EL ROMIACHI was a disappointment last time but is clearly capable of better and could earn some more money.

Race 7
Race Summary: CERTAINLY did not show her best in her penultimate start and it remains a concern that the performance cannot be explained away. The Wylie Hall filly won well on either side of that run and if at her best she does look the most likely winner. CHERE FOR ME shows promise and got a deserved first win last time out and must be considered. Trainer Alan Greeff knows what is needed to win this race and both EMILY'S SPIRIT and HOLLY'S VIEW would not be surprise winners. Watch the betting on the Gavin Smith-trained runners as well.

Race 8
Race Summary: A competitive race to end a nice card. LIFE ON MARS was not disgraced in a much better race than this last time and has a winning chance. MESMERIZING MOON is consistent and deserves respect. STORM CHASER is seeking a hat-trick after two good wins over this course and distance and must be considered. BRASS BELL was making good progress last time out and could be ready to win another race. VARSITY BOURBON is unreliable but on best form is capable of a bold display.
