UK Lady Wins £3.2Million For Nigerian Sex Insult!

Svetlana Lokhova, 32, was branded “mental” and “clinically bonkers” by men at the bank where she worked, who suggested she visit Nigeria for sex with tribesmen to calm her down.

On the day she resigned Mikhail Stiskin, a senior analyst, wrote in an email that he “knew a few tribe leaders in Nigeria … proper alpha male … she needs to relax after the stressful period of the past months. These guys would help.”

The comments were referred to as showing a “demeaning and offensive attitude towards women”, and in particular Miss Lokhova, who was earning £750,000 a year .

The tribunal also found that Paolo Zaniboni, who was in charge of the London office at the time, had failed to manage the situation with Mr Longmuir properly and didn’t investigate her claims, amounting to “victimisation.”

The Central London Employment Tribunal rejected 19 of Miss Lokhova’s 22 complaints but found in her favour in the substantive areas of harassment and intimidation on the basis of gender. Judges found there was no evidence she was put under surveillance by the bank or put on a list of underperformers after he relationship with Mr Longmuir began to deteriorate. It also rejected claims that she was not paid the correct sick pay.

Sperbank is led by Herman Gref, a former economy minister for Vladimir Putin.

Paul Marriott, a spokesman for the bank, told the Daily Mail: “Sberbank CIB and the management team in London are committed to equal opportunities and promoting diversity in its workplace, and did not expect this decision.”
