French players have said that Nigeria will present a genuine threat against them during their World Cup round of 16 knockout match on Monday. Manchester United left back Patrice Evra, who plays for the French national team was quoted as saying that his countrymen are focused on Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama ahead of the clash for a place in the quarterfinal.
Local media reports in Lagos on Saturday quoted Evra as telling a group of French journalists that Enyeama is a fantastic goalkeeper, but we do have one as well in Hugo Llorisâ.
He said the entire Nigerian team is dangerous going forward and that is one strong factor for his teammates to consider when they meet the West Africans.
Nigerian goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, plays club football with Lille in France’s Ligue 1 and kept the longest clean sheet in the country’s top division last season.
