We hereby submit that it is ok for all to be ambitious since we are all political animals, but with a clause. Where a public office holder is progressive and positive minded, let us allow them to complete their 2 terms of office. Except they are not desirous of proceeding with another term, this is of course impossible in Nigeria going by the allure of public office. Amosun is a progressive minded Governor. Let us look at his antecedents. He met some financial quagmire, he needs time, even at that, his performance so far is commendable compared to his peers.
Where there seems to be any animosity between any camp, politics is all about alignment and compromise, sort out your differences. Amosun too must be diplomatic, he benefited from OGD OBJ imbroglio during the last election, let us be more flexible and accommodating, and to the supposedly power brokers, make una take am easy, no one should play God. God bless Ogun State, God bless Nigeria, Long live President Jonathan.

Already, 2015 political dispensation’s preparation has been on, a lot of party loyalists are busy printing posters and other campaign souvenirs that will aide their projection in winning the number one seat for the man of their prospective candidate.
Recently, there are reports that campaign posters and banners of the former Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Mr. Fola Adeola, who was paired as the running mate in the last political election to Mallam El-Rufai for the presidential election under the now defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN.
Posters and other campaign paraphernalia with his picture and name penultimate Wednesday flooded Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital; the banking guru has signified his interest to wrestle for the Oke-Mosan seat of power with the incumbent governor, Senator, Ibikunle Amosun.
According to the report, Adeola’s readiness to join the governorship race in Ogun State on the platform of the newly registered All Progressives Congress might be a herculean task, the reason is because, the powers that be in the political arena of Ogun State are still pushing SIA for another term.
Though, there are mixed reactions on the governance of the incumbent governor, notwithstanding, it’s going to be a herculean task to defeat the incumbent.
Understandably, the electorates should decide who they want to entrust their votes with but this rarely occur on our terrain due to how political leaders forces their preferred candidate during political primaries on the electorates thus making it become a do or die affair as being practised.
With this new development; some people are congratulating Mr. Adeola while some are telling him to simply take a turn till 2019 when SIA might have left the office. Some sons and daughters of the State are of the opinion that Mr. Fola should not have chosen APC as a platform to run his race since the incumbent is still very active and relevant in the party.
This development occurred barely a month after chairmen of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria in the 20 local government areas of the state endorsed the incumbent Senator Ibikunle Amosun for another term.
But the campaign posters and banners bearing the APC logo, party slogan and the inscription: “Change 2015, Fola Adeola for Governor” were believed to be the first step by the by the Fola Adeola caucus.
