Reports say he has had two teeth knocked out in the attack.

The Ministry of Justice has confirmed an investigation is underway but has refused to comment further.

A Prison Service spokesperson said: 'The police are investigating an incident that took place at HMP Belmarsh on July 17.

'It would be inappropriate to comment while the investigation was ongoing.'

Adebolajo is accused of hacking Fusilier Rigby to death together with Michael Adebowale, 22, near Woolwich Barracks in south east London on May 22.

3 NIGERIANS JAILED IN UK FOR EXPIRED VISAS!

Three Nigerian immigrants jailed after trying to stay illegally in Walthamstow

Three Nigerians who tried to trick their way to a new life in the UK through sham marriage and illegal employment have been jailed.

Henrietta Samugana, 32, Oluwatobi Adegbenro, 36, and his brother Olaseni Adegbenro, 30, were sentenced to 12 months, eight months and 12 months respectively when they appeared at St Albans Crown Court yesterday.

All three had overstayed their visas, but Samugana had used a fake Dutch ID card in the name of Carina Centeno to fraudulently get employment as a support worker at a care home.

Later investigations found that she had used the false identity to marry Olaseni, and made three requests to the Home Office asking that her husband be granted UK residency – all were refused.

An operation involving police and immigration enforcement officers was launched, and they discovered a fraudulent UK driving license in the name of Oluwatobi Adegbenro at the trio’s flat in Yunus Khan Close, Walthamstow, where all three were living.

Robert Braybrook, from Home Office immigration enforcement, said: “These people treated the UK’s immigration laws with contempt, overstaying their visas and then attempting to use a variety of illegal and fraudulent means to remain in the country and obtain work to which they were not entitled.

“This case sends a clear message that people who ignore immigration law do so at their peril. They will be caught and they will be brought to justice.”

The trio had pleaded guilty to the charges against them at an earlier hearing.

Samugana admitted using a false ID card and fraud, Oluwatobi Adegnbenro and Olaseni Adegbenro both admitted possession of false ID documents with intent and seeking leave to remain in the UK by deception.

Police and ambulance were called to the property in Stevens Road at around 4.15am, where the pair were declared dead at the scene.

The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained.

A spokesman from the Met Police, who are investigating, said officers believe they know who the man and the woman are but a formal identification has not yet taken place.

Next of kin are being traced.

The house is cordoned off and police and forensic officers are still at the terraced home.

I WILL NOT SELL MY PLAYERS TO UNITED AGAIN!

I will not sell my players to United again – WENGER

Arsene Wenger has stated that he no desire to sell any of his players to rivals Manchester United again. The Frenchman sanctioned a £24million deal for Robin van Persie, to move to Old Trafford last summer.

The Dutch striker scored twice in the fixtures against his former team, including the equaliser from the spot at the Emirates. When asked after the match, if Ferguson wanted more of his players, he replied:

"I don't know but he will not sign them from us."

The Arsenal manager also defended the fans' behaviour towards their former captain, describing it as "more disappointed love" than aggression and insisted that they still respected him.

"He [Van Persie] is in our dressing room because the food is better in our dressing room," he said. "I didn't talk to him. I just saw that when I moved out of my office that he was with the players. We are rivals but look, at the end of the day, we decided to sell him. You want us to make a guard of honour and to respect the champions but you have to accept as well that respect exists after the game.

"You want to give absolutely everything for the 90 minutes and after the game you can still talk to each other. I think our defenders didn't make life easy for him at all. We played with great commitment."

Below is the official release from UKBA:

Change to family visitor appeals

26 April 2013
The Home Office is removing the full right of appeal for applicants refused leave to enter the UK as a family visitor.
On 25 April 2013 Royal Assent was given to a clause in the Crime and Courts Bill, published on 10 May 2012, which will allow the change to be pushed through.
The change is expected to come into force on or soon after 25 June. The new appeal arrangements will apply to anybody who applies to enter the UK to visit a family member on or after the implementation date.
By removing the right of appeal, we are bringing the family visitor visa in line with all other visitor visa categories. Applicants who are refused can re-apply addressing the reasons for refusal instead of appealing. This will be quicker and cost less than an appeal. In 2011-12 95% of applications were decided within 15 days, whereas the appeal system can take up to 8 months to deliver a result.
We will update our guidance, forms and website information to reflect these changes in time for implementation.

UK VISA APPLICANTS TO FACE COMPULSORY DOUBLE EXAMS IN NEW RULES!

From 28 October 2013, applicants in both categories, settlement and citizenship, will be required to pass the Life in the UK Test and to hold a B1 (intermediate) level English language speaking and listening qualification. This change will strengthen the citizenship process, replacing the current system which requires applicants to sit either the life in the UK test or show language progression from one English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) level to the next, but not both.
The knowledge of language and life requirement for settlement (Indefinite leave to remain)
From 28 October 2013, there will be two parts to the knowledge of language and life requirement, both of which must be met by all applicants for settlement unless the individual is exempt. Applicants will be required to:
  • pass the Life in the UK test; and
  • to have a speaking and listening qualification in English at B1 CEFR or higher, or its equivalent.
The knowledge of language and life requirement for naturalisation
The knowledge of language and life requirement for naturalisation as a British citizen will be the same as that for settlement, and the same English language qualifications will be accepted.
English language qualifications
A range of English language qualifications will be accepted as evidence that an applicant has met the B1 level speaking and listening requirements.
These include:
  • Qualifications covering speaking and listening at B1 or above from the Home Office's Secure English Language Test (SELT) list.
  • ESOL qualifications at entry level 3 or level 1 or level 2, including speaking and listening, that have been regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). The qualification must be listed as an ESOL qualification on the Ofqual Register of Regulated Qualifications and must have been taken in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.
  • A National Qualification in ESOL at Scottish Qualifications Framework levels 4, 5 or 6, awarded by the Scottish Qualifications Authority and taken in Scotland.
