HEN FOUNDATION PRESIDENT MEETS KUWAIT DEP-AMBASSADOR.

A very rare meeting took place between Hen Foundation President and the Deputy Ambassador of Kuwaiti Embassy in London, Ambassador Nawaf Boshaibah at his embassy's office to discuss a range of issues:

1. The Foundation empowerment initiative program.

2. Global security/Terrorism with current coalition forces strategy in Syria & Iraq

3. Africa security problem, boko haram/chibok school girls kidnapped.

4. Gender equality problem in the Arab world particularly against women.

Kuwait is ranked highest of all Middle East countries on gender equality in the human development category and in 2013, almost 47% of Kuwaiti women participated in the labour forbe.

LUXEMBOURG DEP-AMB MEETS HEN FOUNDATION PRESIDENT

A day Hen Foundation becomes the first African established Non-Governmental organisation in the UK to be visited and recognised as partner by the no 1 richest country in Europe and the 2nd richest country in the world Grand-duchy of Luxembourg, a country that only supports or partner with just only 10 Non-Governmental Organisation in the world is a rare privilege.

The meeting between the Hen Foundation President and Deputy Ambassador of Luxembourg to the UK, Ireland and Iceland, Ambassador Jean Claude Kugener at the foundation office in London, focus on co-operation in empowerment initiative programs for Africa, Advocates for more Luxembourg companies in Africa and creating job opportunity in Africa and partnership with local companies in Africa in other to reduce poverty. The Foundation advocates for Luxembourg government and organisation to involve more on campaign in gender equality in Africa and right of girl’s child to Education. The foundation advocates for increases Luxembourg diplomatic mission in Africa which currently four in number by opening more diplomatic mission e.g. in Nigeria, South Africa and many more important issues.

HEN FOUNDATION PRESIDENT MEETS UK YOUNGEST COUNCILLOR.

Photos below: HEN Foundation President with the newly elected councillor in the United Kingdom, Cllr Aisha Eniola from London Borough of  Brent at Hilton hotel Paddington.

The President has this to say: She is very intelligent, articulate and focused and i was not surprised with her exceptional performance during her campaign. She was inspired by her Mum and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie for her Humanitarian effort around the world and risking her life for visiting the dangerous spots.

She is passionate about how she want to make meaningful impact in her community and society at large. She is also the youngest among other councillors. She intoned that her Dad was proud of her who was also a former Councillor of Welsh harp.

Her parents are from Nigeria. Mr Francis Eniola from Lagos and Mrs Eniola Igbira. Cllr Eniola has accepted to be part of the Hen foundation with future partnership programme to better our community.

My conclusion is that Cllr Eniola is an achiever at such a young age and a good example to other Africa politicians if they are listening or reading. So watch this space everybody- this is a girl with serious passion with making a difference!
