INTRIGUES OF DESMOND ELIOT'S VICTORY AT THE PRIMARIES!
News reaching us from Surulere claims Desmond did not actually win any election, that he was imposed by some notable godfathers. It takes a lot to impose a greenhorn against an age long and experienced incumbent.
Recall that Hon Kabiru Lawal was about turning the seat into a family title, even in a family setting like the Oyo empire, we still have the Oyo Mesi, so it was quite easy to use the Desmond effect against the much maligned Hon Kabiru Lawal.
Further, Kabiru grew unpopular over the years, abandoning his goons at Shitta, the Friday biblical agidigbos and turned himself into a man Friday for Senator Remi Tinubu. Remi could not save him when the chips were down, even Remi cannot save herself at the moment, as the Yorubas say, olomele mo mele!! He thus, got his just deserts from Desmond Eliot.
The primary was peaceful at all the venues monitored by our correspondent except in Surulere where there was tension because Nollywood star, Desmond Elliot, was said to have been favoured against the incumbent and two-term member of the House, Kabiru Lawal.
It was reliably gathered that Elliot is ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s candidate.
It was also gathered that Lawal will be compensated with the chairmanship position of Surulere Local Government.

Nollywood Desmond Eliot Wins APC Primaries!
News coming in from across Lagos where the ruling All Progressive Congress is holding its primaries to elect the candidates for the House of Assembly has it that most of the elections have been concluded.
In Surulere Constituency I, Nollywood actor and Director, Desmond Eliot picked the ticket wining others while his colleague in the entertainment industry, Kenny Saint Best wasn't so lucky as she lost to Folajimi Mohammed who is the son of APC National Spokesman, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
In Ikorodu, two time member of the House; SOB Agunbiade won the ticket for Ikorodu Constituency I.

Also, reports from Oshodi/Isolo has shown that son of APC chairman in Lagos, Ladi Ajomale has picked the ticket to represent Oshodi/Isolo constituency II at the expense of incumbent; Omowunmi Edet and other contenders.
In Badagry, Engr Setinji David defeated the incumbent Hon. Avoseh to grab the ticket for Badagry constituency I while Hon. Layode who is the incumbent in Constituency II won the ticket.
