Second List Of Ministerial Nominations

President Bola Tinubu has forwarded the second batch of 19 ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation. This now brings the total number of ministerial nominees to 47.

Tinubu submitted the list to the Senate President, Gosdswill Akpabio, through his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, during plenary on Wednesday.

Gbajabiamila, who is the immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives, was admitted into the senate chambers during the screening of one of the 28 ministerial nominees earlier sent by the president last week Thursday, July 27.

The new nominees include:

Yusuf Sununu

Adegboyega Oyetola

Atiku Bagudu,

Bello Matawalle

Ibrahim Gaidam

Simon Lalong

Shuaibu Audu

Tahir Mamman

Aliyu Sabi

Heneiken Lokpobiri

Zaphaniah Jisalo

Uba Ahmadu

Alkali Said.

So far, the senate has concluded the screening of the first batch of 28 nominees sent by the president.
