TRAIN DERAILS IN LONDON!

An accident near Brighton this afternoon has had a knock-on effect on trains leaving the capital.

An empty freight train derailed at around 2pm this afternoon, and Southern and Thameslink trains serving London Bridge station and London Victoria station will experience cancellations and delays of up to 40 minutes as a result.

Transport for London has said it will accept tickets for the stricken services.
