Delta Airlines Crashes Into Fence In New York!

A packed passenger plane skidded off a runway before slamming into a fence after landing in treacherous conditions in New York.

The Delta flight was arriving at La Guardia airport shortly after 11am today when witnesses said it began to violent swerve as it touched down.

Passengers carried their bags and bundled up in heavy coats and scarves before sliding down an emergency inflated chute.

Delta Flight 1086 was landing at LaGuardia after flying from Atlanta with 125 passengers and five crew on board.

Emergency responders are still assessing people, but any injuries are believed to be minor bumps and bruises.

LaGuardia's runways were closed soon after the incident, the Federal Aviation Administration announced.
