Rat filmed scurrying through Debenhams on Black Friday
Even the rats were getting in on the Black Friday deals after a runaway rodent was filmed scampering through the beauty section of a department store last week.
The Debenhams store in Bedfordshire was hit by ‘pandemonium’ according to a witness speaking to the Telegraph, after the rat was seen brushing up against shoppers legs.
It was filmed scurrying between aisles and was reportedly trapped in a store room, but Debenhams have yet to make a comment on the incident.
Helen Johnson, 23, told the newspaper: “There were screaming, panicking women and some were almost bursting into tears.
“One lady was hyper-ventilating and having a panic attack.”
