Reports indicate that Jimi Agbaje has emerged as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s candidate for the Lagos governorship elections, beating Musiliu Obanikoro and others, including Mr. Babatunde Gbadamosi, Dr (Mrs) Modupe Chukwuneke, Ambassador Tokunboh Kamson and Adedeji Doherty.
Agbaje, who lost out in the 2007 elections under the platform of the Democratic Peoples Alliance (DPA), won by polling 432 of 836 votes cast at the primaries conducted on Monday. Former Minister of Defence, Obanikoro, polled a total of 343 votes.
