News reaching us from Surulere claims Desmond did not actually win any election, that he was imposed by some notable godfathers. It takes a lot to impose a greenhorn against an age long and experienced incumbent.

It was reliably gathered that Elliot is ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s candidate.

It was also gathered that Lawal will be compensated with the chairmanship position of Surulere Local Government.
