STUDENT BEATS TEACHER TO COMA!

Pewu Johnson, 68, attacked by student

A substitute teacher at Bartram High School in Philadelphia had a horrible day at work. Pewu Johnson, 68, was knocked out by an out-of-control student. The incident happened last week, when a female student sat on the lap of a male student during the class. Johnson told the two students that their behavior was against the rules and in response the male student told Johnson “get the f— out of my face.”. Johnson told the student to get out of the classroom and threatened to get an administrator and while Johnson’s back was turned he was attacked. The student allegedly grabbed him from behind and body slammed the teacher to the ground knocking him unconscious.

The YouTube video of the incident was uploaded recently and shows Johnson lying unconscious on the ground while students look around and make comments. Johnson has recovered from his injuries after being treated at a hospital and said he planned to file a criminal complaint against the student.

Philadelphia Councilman Kenyatta Johnson told the media, “No forms of violence, especially against teachers, should be tolerated. So we want to make sure that teachers are safe, all young people are safe, and most importantly, but there is a zero-tolerance policy toward any type of violence against any teachers.”

The Philadelphia school district has stated that the student has been suspended and was facing expulsion.
