Drug Dealer Brands Ebola Heroin!
Barnabas Davis
In sales and marketing, branding is everything. This basic fact of marketing was not lost on alleged drug dealer Barnabas “Hammer” Davis, 47, a New Jersey man who had a unique name for his brand of heroin, Ebola. Law enforcement officials state that Davis was selling drugs inside a room at a Ramada Inn near Toms River, New Jersey.
Police found more than 600 baggies of heroin labeled “Ebola” and about 40 grams of crack cocaine. Police stated that it is common for drug dealers to give their brand of heroin a distinctive name to stick out among users. Davis was charged with heroin and crack cocaine possession with the intent to distribute. Davis remains jailed at the Ocean County New Jersey jail with a $300,000 bail.
