Miss Africa Tri-State Pageant For New York City!

Miss Africa Tri State Scholarship Pageant is a graceful, elaborate, and the most publicized African beauty pageant in the Tri- State area of the United States. It is an avenue to showcase the beauty of Africa at its best.

The objective of the organization is to empower and encourage young African females in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut on the importance of using their power, voice, and newly acquired status as queen to advocate and
support humanitarian causes as goodwill ambassadors.

The event which has previously been held in New Jersey is moving to the next state in the Tri State – New York City.

As a well recognized and highly supported organization by the African Communities in the Tri State area, Government bodies and major establishments, MATS has not fallen short of its momentum yearly.

According to the President - Madam Olamide Davies Talabi, Some of the expected dignitaries include Ambassador of Nigeria to the UN, Ambassador of Suriname to the UN, Ambassador of Burundi to the UN, Ambassador of Ivory Coast to the UN, and more names of notable personalities, celebrities are been added every day.

To give the event the glamor expected each year are the hosts: A- List Nollywood Actress Stella Damasus and Actor cum Producer, Oliver Mbamara.

 It promises to be a night of cultural display, networking and entertainment!
