The Nigerian government is indirectly in contact with the Islamist group which abducted 273 schoolgirls, Sky News sources say.
Sky intelligence sources said Chad, Cameroon and Niger are also offering satellite imagery to help find the girls.
More than 300 girls were kidnapped from a boarding school in the northern Borno state on April 14. It is thought that 53 managed to escape, but 273 are still missing.
