We have two versions of the electrocution!
Firstly, Five people were electrocuted in Lagos as a result of high tension wire cut into two parts after the heavy rain.
Confirming the tragedy, Council of Oworonshoki Youth Forum Kabiawu Babajide said the wire cut and fell across a drainage channel and after contacting the wood it immediately caught fire.

When the two vehicles parked nearby started to burn, the locals raised alarm for others to escape.
However, the victims didn't know what was happening and were "running away from their houses in different directions and stepped on the high tension wire and they were immediately electrocuted", Babajide explained.
A woman with 3 children and a pregnant woman with her child were among the tragedy victims.
The injured were rushed to the hospital.
An eyewitness said that when the husband of the deceased woman, who was electrocuted together with their 3 children, heard about the tragedy, he drank poison. The man was reportedly immediately taken to the Afolabi Hospital in the area.
The fire was soon extinguished without spreading to the nearby buildings.
Secondly, (URHOBOTODAY)-Tragedy struck this morning at Oworonsoki Lagos when five people were electrocuted to death this morning while running for their dear lives when a PHCN high tension wire fell on a car. A fully loaded petrol tanker owned by some illegal bunkers, collided with a high tension electric mast around no.8 onabanjo street,Oworonsoki.Lagos.
The high tension fell and in the course of running for their lives, these innocent people got electrocuted.
It is yet to be known if the illegal bunkerers have been arrested by the law enforcement agents.
