Mrs Moji Ogunsanya, wife of Adewunmi Ogunsanya, has been laid to rest. Dewunmi, as he is popularly called, is the Chairman of the cable satellite TV companies, GoTV, MultiChoice and DsTV. He was one of the first set of Nigerians to venture into the cable satellite viewing business and it has been a tremendous success story, all the way.
His wife, Moji, was born into the royal Adesanya family of Ijebu-Ode and her father is Professor Tayo Adesanya. Moji attended The Methodist Girls Science School, Lagos and obtained her A’ Levels in England after a course of study at Brooke House College, Market Harbro, Leicester, England. She then proceeded to University of Lagos where her father was a Professor to read Law. Beautiful and cultured Moji passed out of the Nigerian Law School with flying colours and later took up an appointment with Lagos State as a Law Officer, becoming a Magistrate which position she held until her death.
She had utilised the services of the best consultant in the prognostication of carcinogenic issues and had been consequently diagnosed for colonic cancer three years ago. Her husband and family ensured that she received the best treatment and surgery that money could buy from all over the world and she was, after treatment, given the all clear signal.
However, as it often happens, there was a relapse last year and a fresh world-wide battle resumed to save her life, but in submission to the limitation of human capability, and in line with the cliché that “che sera sera”, she gave up the ghost in Germany on March 22nd 2014.
