The highly-rated 17-year-old has featured prominently in the Gunners’ youth teams this season, playing a key role in their UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup campaigns.
The Spanish youth international joined Arsenal from Barcelona in the summer of 2013, following in the footsteps of former skipper Cesc Fabregas.
A statement on Arsenal’s official website read: “Everyone at Arsenal would like to congratulate Julio on his first professional contract and we look forward to his continued progression with the Club.”
