Newly-appointed Minister of Defence, General Aliyu Gusau, has sensationally thrown in the towel just a week after his appointment.
It was gathered that his action may be as a result of the refusal of top ranked officers of the Nigerian Military to have a joint meeting with the new Minister and his deputy, Musiliu Obanikoro.
This show of subordination may have allegedly infuriated the ex-Army chief, prompting his resignation from the cabinet.
