3. JOB SUMMARY: The Branch Manager (Combined) is responsible for relationship management, marketing, sales, customer account management in the branch as well as developing and executing plans to meet the set targets in volume and margin within retail outlets in the branch:
The role is responsible for:
• Initiating and marketing Oando’s Products to assigned commercial customers ensuring prompt collection of cash while ensuring each customer remains within approved credit terms/TAR limits
• effectively manage retail outlet dealers to achieve the set objectives for stations in the branch
• Ensure that the assets of the Company in the retail outlets are optimally utilized to guarantee maximum and faster returns on investment.
• Driver established health & safety practices and ensure enforcement at the stations
• Ensure availability of accurate and complete documentation for all insurance claims

In addition, the Branch Manager (combined) is responsible for ensuring the continued profitability and growth of business from each customer account managed and also serves as the liaison officer of the Company in his/her location in terms of relationship management of government agencies; regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
4. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Effectively plan and allocates targets to all the stations.
• Ensures that stations orders are followed up with CCU to avoid stock out
• Effectively manage each customer account to ensure the sales targets are fully achieved
• Offer efficient and effective supervision including guidance to dealers while initiating business plan / move to achieve individual outlets set targets
• Actively seek to develop new retail channel business off the forecourt
• Maintain updated / comprehensive data on each dealer and conducts regular appraisals on dealers.
• To monitor competitors activities and provide useful information including statistics that will promote company activities
• Ensure that company policies are strictly adhered to in the running of retail outlets as detailed out in the Retail management procedures.
• To prepare and timely submit monthly sales report and others as may be required from time to time
• Acquire new retail outlets based on the pre-determined criteria & strategy.

Principal Functions:
• Operate and monitor the deployed CCTV surveillance system, Building Management System (BMS), Access Control, Fire and Intruder alarm systems and initiate appropriate action when necessary.

• Must be familiar with the operation of CCTV and other security equipment systems.
• Preferably, should have an understanding of the law related to the use of video evidence and have the skills to apply that understanding to the management of tapes.

Principal Functions:
• Monitor and study the impact of new laws, rules and regulations that may affect Etisalat’s property/sites, collocation/infrastructure sharing arrangements, litigation and dispute resolution and make recommendation to the Head, Property/Site Acquisition.
• Assist in the preparation of all assignments, leases, licences and related documents covering Etisalat’s properties/sites. Ensure all property documents are renewed in advance of expiry dates as required.
• Liaise with individual departments/divisions and provide advice on legal issues arising from property/site acquisition, collocation/infrastructure sharing arrangements, litigation and dispute resolution.
• Ensure that terms and conditions set out in contractual documentation are legally valid, consistent with Etisalat’s policies, rules and regulations, and are in the organization’s best interest.
• Ensure that legal formalities are adhered to including regulatory permits and registration.
• Assist in the management of Etisalat Dispute and complaint investigation, issue holding letters and/or final letters as the case may be and promote resolution of issues and maintain Etisalat Dispute tracker/database.
• Review and contribute to case management strategy developed by external counsel.
• Review and amend court processes, identify and collate documentary evidence, identify and prepare internal witnesses for court cases and attend court to represent Etisalat.
• Liaise and work with Etisalat’s relevant departments and external counsel to prosecute or defend litigation by or against Etisalat, attend court cases as may be required from time to time to represent Etisalat, and maintain Etisalat’s litigation tracker/database
• Research and proffer opinion on any legal inquiries or issues relating to property/site acquisition, collocation/infrastructure sharing arrangements, litigation and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• To carry out all maintenance repairs and modifications on Crane Supervisor and/or Crane Foreman and other plant and equipment (when required) in accordance with the requirements of the Code of Practice and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Ensuring high standards are maintained.
• To evaluate and analyse the nature, cause and perform the repairs of breakdowns. Determining the optimal way of dealing with the problem, to achieve a quality and cost effective solution, as well as minimal downtime and maximum Operational availability of Container handling equipment.
• Use sound knowledge of rigging procedures to recover equipment from yard due to accidents as efficiently as possible, ensuring minimal delays to operations.
• Have sufficient knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act. Enforce safe working procedures, for the purpose of safety of employees and people around you.
• To carry out repairs to defects as per Examiners defect list. To ensure safe working and minimize breakdowns to machinery and equipment.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Fill out Confirmation Slips to ensure proper records are kept for future reference.
• To execute all repairs timorously and effectively ensuring equipment failure is minimized and availability of equipment is optimised in the most cost effective manner.
• Working from Monday’s to Friday’s from 7H00am to 19H00pm but not limited to shifts, overtime and standby to ensure 24-hour availability of Container handling equipment.
• Receive and execute instructions and decisions from the Crane Supervisor and/or Crane Foreman;
• Identify work requirements and raise work requests providing complete and thorough information;
• Advise Crane Supervisor and/or Crane Foreman on concerns relating to unreliable equipment;
• Perform other related functions required from time to time such as assistance with major emergency work;
• Ensure adherence to established safety practices in the execution of assignments and in the use of tools, equipment and machinery;
• Assist in maintenance of a safe working environment;
• Provide technical expertise and a positive attitude to the functions performed;
• As required, identify spare parts and tools required for breakdown work;
• Provide Work Order planning information as required to Maintenance Planner, Supervisor or Foreman;
• Perform maintenance activities on a daily/weekly/monthly basis;
• Troubleshoot and effect repairs on electrical circuits, control systems and electrical component elements. This includes the modification of components and servicing techniques in conjunction with the Crane Supervisor and/or Crane Foreman to improve efficiency;
• Test equipment to ensure compliance with specification and safety standards;
• Provide support with service, repair, deploy, remove and stow away equipment as required using safe driving techniques and safe parking procedures;
• Execute maintenance schedule as directed by Crane Supervisor and/or Crane Foreman;
• Provide feedback to Crane Supervisor and/or Crane Foreman on job progress;
• Identify components to be overhauled;
• Complete post-job tasks – clean up, return of spares etc;
• Provide correct information on Work Orders and other job documentation, ensuring an accurate record of work performed, time taken to complete work, spare parts and materials used etc;
• Execute proper handover of equipment to Operations and provide on the job guidance to new recruits;
• Participate in analysis of maintenance standards, practices etc;
• Clean tools and equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions/manual;
• If needed, perform minor repairs on tools and equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instruction/manual;
• Report defective tools and equipment to immediate foremen / supervisor;
• Comply with all disaster contingency plans and contingency cleanliness;
