The convoy of the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Ali Olanusi, was earlier today involved in an auto mishap that claimed the lives of four persons. The accident occurred in Aponmu-Owena along Ondo road, eye-witnesses have informed Ekekeee.

Our sources say a white Toyota Camry conveying a traditional ruler, the Osomakinde of Ife Tuntun in Osun State, Oba Taofik Olaposi– was commuting from Osun state to Akure when it came head-on with the convoy of the Deputy Governor which was travelling at break-neck speed. The Deputy Governor was on his way to a function in Ondo town.
The corpses of the victims have been deposited at the State specialist hospital in Akure. While there were other injuries to some members of the travelling party, the Deputy Governor emerged from the mishap unscathed.
