There is a speculation that the Nigeria Ambassador to Sri lanka, Femi Akenson Rotimi, may have resigned his appointment.
The reason behind his alleged resignation is yet to be confirmed, but sources revealed to NAIJA CENTER NEWS that he may have tendered his resignation due to pressure, Naija Center News last publication which indicted him of sexual harassment, or dissatisfaction over the location he is asked to lead.
Mr. Rotimi has been accused on the 12th of August by his former secretary of continuously harassing her sexually and later fired her for her refusal to what she termed as “play ball”.
Attempts to investigate the allegation proved abortive as the embassy staff reminded our correspondent that we were about to support a foreigner against the Ambassador. And Mr. Romiti told our correspondent to stay away from his former secretary when pushed to know why she was actually fired.
The Ambassador was also in the past accused of public embezzlement, promiscuity, and less concern over Nigerians in Philippine when he was the Head of Chancery.
