There are fears over the health of former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George.
He is said to be seriously ill.
At a time last year, Chief George was also reported to have taken ill and flown abroad, but the Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the party, Tunji Shelle, dismissed the story as a mere rumour.
It might not be known that Chief George has been out of the country for about four months.
This position was confirmed by a close ally of the politician, who pleaded not to be named, saying the ‘rumour’ might not be far from the truth.
According to him, though George had been in England for months receiving treatment. But he would not disclose the nature of George’s illness.
