Reports reaching DailyPost from the volatile city of Borno indicate that the Airforce Base located in Maiduguri, the state capital is currently under heavy attack by members of the dreaded sect, Boko Haram.
DailyPost could not ascertain if lives were lost in the attack at the time of filing this report.
Also reportedly attacked are Bulumkutu Divisional police station and 33 Artillery Battalion.
Sources say the state capital has been under siege since about 4am
