A 30-seater passenger plane has crashed shortly after take-off from Lagos airport in Nigeria, officials and eyewitnesses say.
The plane was bound for Akure in the south-west of the country, a spokesman for the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency told AFP.
The engine failed and it crash-landed and burst into flames, Supo Atobatele was quoted as saying.

ReplyDeleteThis is quiet unfortunate, where is Ondo that they cant go on road within the Western Nigeria. The corpse ought to have been taken on Road so that the people along Lagos/Ore can be able to bid him a farewell, but look at how our thinking being stupid. Well, they are all rich men's family that cant travel on the roads refused to be fixed by their fathers, "Olowo n'sore olowo", may their souls rest in perfect peace.
