Lagos To Conduct DNA Test On Associated Airline Crash Victims



The Lagos state government says that it will conduct DNA test to identify the 13 bodies burnt beyond recognition.

Briefing journalists shortly after visiting survivors at the surgical emergency ward of the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) , the Lagos state Deputy Governor Princess Adejoke Orelope –Adefulire said the state government has 13 charred bodies and seven survivors in its custody.

She asked people whose relatives travelled in the ill-fated aircraft to come to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) for the DNA test process to identify the victims.

Hours after the Associated Airline flight crashed; the management of the aviation company released the list of passengers on the flight.

The Embraer 120 aircraft was carrying 20 passengers on board namely:

Agagu Feyi, Akintunde Taiwo, Akintunde Akeem, Akinsanya Femi, An Unidentified Male, Agagu Femi, Akintunde Joseph, Tunji Okusanya, Chijioke Duru, Kingsley Amaechi, Deji Afolabi, Mrs.E.O Alibi, Daji Bernard, Deji Falae, Samson Hassan, and Olatunji Okusanya,while crew members were; Capt. Yakubu, Flight Officer Oyinlola, Engr. Saroh Elaiye, Flight Dispatcher Ibrahim, Mr. Felix Tatoye, Cabin Attendant Owolabi, Cabin Attendant Samson.
