The unresolved imbroglio currently ravaging, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Africa’s largest political party, has made lots of the party’s political stalwart to leave in droves for other rival parties. The crisis, according to political stakeholders, may consume the party as most of the younger generation of party faithful have complaints of being marginalized by ex-political office holders cum leaders of the party.

The former speaker Rt.Hon. Dimeji Bankole was said to have concluded plans to join the All Progressive Congress. According to one of the newsmen in Ogun State, close aides of the disgraced youngest speaker in the history of politics in Nigeria, has ordered two of his aides, Morufu Afuape and Special Adviser on Communications, Kayode Odunaro, to join the party last week.

Mikeangelonews.com gathered that the ex-speaker, who wants to reclaim his former position, has been having series of meetings with the powers that be in APC in Ogun State, alongside his faction in PDP and erstwhile political associates to express his interests for his former seat.

Sources in APC whispered to us that the former Speaker could be favoured in the next political dispensation to return to the House of Reps in 2015 as the present occupant of the Abeokuta South Federal constituency, Hon. Samuel Segun Williams, who defeated Hon. Dimeji Bankole in the last election of 2011, is not in good book of the party leaders.
