Pastor Ajanaku and Tope Alabi – during the good old days
Leading Yoruba gospel singer, Tope Alabi broke up with her former spiritual mentor, (now late) Prophet Iretiola Ajanaku when messy revelations dodged their relationship. For months the man granted interviews to media men, ‘washing’ as it were, their dirty undies in public glare. He accused her of demanding sex from him and he denied before his mysterious death that Tope’s daughter (Deborah) was not fathered by him.
Both in life and in death, the prophet regaled in controversy. His mysterious death was plagued with reports of sudden resurrection and relapse into coma. Oro cult was reported to have performed funeral rites in his hometown Gbongan, to mourn the death of a supposed member of the cult.
Social media is trending about Ajanaku’s death and what Tope’s fans called VINDICATION. With the exit of the ‘prophet’, will Tope be finally free of the scandals that were thrown up after her break-up with her former spiritual father, whom she used to eulogize in many of her waxed records.

If for nothig, I wish the other so called "Gospel singers" who sings the praise of men who are supporting them will learn that when a man lift you up there is a limit they can go & when you don't recognise dem any more they can also go to any limit to try to bring you down.

ITS GOD THAT PUT THEM THERE FOR YOU SINGING THEIR PRAISE MEANS YOU ARE PUTTING THEM ABOVE GOD & GOD NO DEY LIKE COMPETITION. IF THEY REFUSE TO BE USE BY GOD THERE ARE OTHER WHO GOD WILL USE TO REPLACE THEM THE PROBLEM IS THAT WE ARE TOO DESPERATE FOR FAME THAT WE FORGET ITS ONLY GOD THAT GIVES A FAME...
ONE CANNOT REALLY UNDERSTAND OR EXTRACT THE TRUTH FROM THE ALLEGATIONS AND COUNTER-ALLEGATION BETWEEN TOPE ALABI AND HIS LATE MENTOR, HOWEVER, IF TOPE ALABI IS IN ANYWAY GUILTY OF THE ALLEGATION LEVIED AGAINST HER, I WILL ADVISE HER TO SINCERELY AND SOBERLY RETURN TO JESUS, CONFESSING ALL HER SINS AND PERHAPS MAKE RESTITUTION WHERE NECESSARY, MOST ESPECIALLY ON THE ISSUE OF THE CHILD. HEAVEN IS REAL SO ALSO HELL.
