The rumour mill was agog from dawn! Pings panging, twitter twitching and facebook bare-faced! Even Google, for once, was on siesta!

Alas! we remembered our chanced encounter with Baba Fatai Rolling Dollar weeks back at Jolitas Hospital Olorunsogo Mushin Lagos Nigeria. One of our Nigerian correspondent pinged us with unclear pictures that Fatai Rolling Dollar was in acute pains. We prodded and asked Baba for a clearer photograph, hmmm, Rolling Dollar pleaded that we should not, we respected the legend and like an owl, we kept a tab on his progress through the media.

To our chagrin, we had to rush to Jolitas Hospital Olorunsogo Mushin, where Rolling Dollar began his medication for Pneumonia, to ascertain the veracity of the story. Yes, Baba Fatai Rolling Dollar has joined the saints.

From Jolitas to Ahmadiya at Ijaiye Ojokoro Otta Ogun State where he gave up the ghost this morning.
