Chelsea Frees Top Players!

Chelsea have named Yossi Benayoun, Florent Malouda, Paulo Ferreira, Henrique Hilario and Ross Turnbull on their released list.

The Premier League’s official released players list was published today, confirming a wave of departures from Stamford Bridge as new manager Jose Mourinho prepares for his first season back in the Chelsea hot seat.

While winger Malouda failed to make a single first team appearance in his final season with Chelsea, Benayoun made 13 appearances, and defender Ferreira featured seven times.

Back-up goalkeepers Hilario and Turnbull also featured sparingly, while young trio Amin Affane, Archange Nkumu and Aziz Deen-Conteh were also released having failed to make the grade.
