A man believed to be in his twenties has been stabbed in Woolwich, just streets away from the scene of Drummer Lee Rigby’s death on Wednesday, police said.
Officers were called to the incident on Wellington Street at 3.55pm this afternoon.
Ambulance crew attended to the man, whose injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson said the attack was not thought to be linked to killing of Drummer Rigby on John Wilson Street earlier this week.
